Bernice McFadden, our 2024 Writers’ Workshop leader, associate professor of English at Tulane University and WORDTheatre darling, is the author of “Black Power,” performed here by actress and producer Malinda Williams who is known for her roles in TV series “Soul Food” and “Windfall,” among others.
