Vikings' Clive Standen Performs "The Phosphorescence" by Nicholas Ruddock

Hello and welcome to WORDTheatre Weekly: The Short Story Podcast where great authors and actors meet! I’m your host, Cedering Fox, WORDTheatre's Founder & Artistic Director.
School’s out and summer’s here, which means an invaluable new crop of interns started working at WORDTheatre this past week! We have a busy couple of months ahead as we prepare to debut our newest extravaganza: The Ocean: Our Liquid Universe on August 3rd at The Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire, England! And if you are stateside, we will be perfoming it in Los Angeles at The Saban Theatre in partnership with the LA Library Foundation so mark your calendar!

This week on the podcast, we’re bringing you “The Phosphorescence” by Nicholas Ruddock. Clive Standen, star of Vikings and Robin Hood, performed it when WORDTheatre was presenting the shortlisted stories for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award.

Please note that WORDTheatre holds the copyright to these recordings and no portion of anything you hear on WORDTheatre Weekly, our short story podcast, may be reproduced without permission.
