Greetings and welcome to WORDTheatre Weekly: The Short Story Podcast where great authors and actors meet! This week, the podcast will be hosted by me, Scout Riley! I am WORDTheatre’s Executive Coordinator, based in Los Angeles, CA. I’m coming up on my two-year anniversary of working here, and I couldn’t be happier!

Our upcoming show, The Ocean: Our Liquid Universe debuts in just over two weeks at The Wilderness festival in Oxfordshire. To drum up the enthusiasm, we are sharing ocean-themed performances on WORD Theatre Weekly from our past events.

This week, we’re bringing you a story from our 2024 performance From the Sea: Stories, Poems & Music in support of Ocean Rising. “Sea Anemones” by Bruce Holland Rogers, here is performed by Rhashan Stone, who has appeared in the series Hollington Drive and Keeping Faith.
